We’re sure you don't need convincing that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places to travel, especially by caravan or motorhome! Our stunning scenery, charming beaches and wide range of outdoor activities are a heavenly combination. Our owners here at Mountain Fresh are avid motorhome travelers, whether you’re caravanning or even camping, hear about their favourite places to visit.
Tauranga Bay: The picturesque bay is perfect for family getaways, with a safe swimming beach and shallow estuary. Head to the rock pools at either end of the beach for some snorkelling, where you'll see small fish, crabs and pretty seashells. If you take a boat and are up for an adventure, Stephenson's Island sits just off Tauranga Bay. The island is deserted and has it's own stunning beaches and scenery to explore. |

Bay of Islands: Located in the North Island, they love the Bay of Islands for its stunning coastline and clear waters, while they’re there they will grab their fishing lines and try their luck with a surf cast from the beach. There are plenty of holiday parks and camping grounds in the area, their favourite is Paihia Top 10 Holiday Park for it’s waterfront location and proximity to the rest of the Bay of Islands and Northland. |

Coromandel Peninsula: Another location on New Zealand’s east coast is the beautiful Coromandel which is conveniently located a couple of hours from our office, perfect for quick weekends away. While they’re there, they love exploring its lush forests, stunning beaches, and rich Maori culture. There are plenty of scenic drives and hiking trails there - they really love a challenge and if they're feeling active, will take a hike up Mount Pauanui. |
